A Serbian Orthodox parish in North Carolina has launched a digital platform that combines parish administration, stewardship, education, and spiritual resources in one system.

CHARLOTTE, NC — A parish in the Serbian Orthodox Church has unveiled a new digital platform designed to streamline parish administration while strengthening engagement between clergy and faithful, offering what its creators describe as a comprehensive solution for modern Orthodox parish life.

The Parish Operations Platform, known as POP, was developed through a collaboration between Fr. Srebrenko Vidaković of St. Simeon the Myrrh-streaming Serbian Orthodox Church in Charlotte and parishioner Dalibor Tomić, an information technology engineer and owner of QStone Network. The project was created with the blessing and support of Bp. Irenej of Washington-New York and Eastern America.

Designed to replace traditional administrative systems, the platform allows parishioners to view service schedules, church events, fasting guidelines, and educational resources through a single interface. Users can also request baptisms, weddings, house blessings, pastoral visits, commemorations, certificates, and facility reservations online.

A major feature of the system is its stewardship and donation-tracking component, which provides parishioners with access to records of their contributions and downloadable receipts. Organizers say the feature promotes transparency while reducing administrative burdens on clergy and parish staff.

The platform also includes educational resources for children and adults, featuring Orthodox instructional materials, saints' lives, spiritual writings, and bilingual Serbian-English content. Developers say the system can be customized for individual parishes and adapted for use across multiple Orthodox jurisdictions.

Currently available as a web application and on Apple's iOS platform, an Android version is under development. Interested parties can find out more about the platform here. An example of a live parish web application can be found here.

Previously, the UOJ reported that OCPM was featured on the Encounter Prayer app.
