The UOC Primate Celebrates his 26th Anniversary of Episcopal Ordination
On 9 December 2016 His Beatitude Metropolitan of Kiev and all Ukraine Onufriy celebrates his 26th anniversary of Episcopal Ordination. It is reported by the UOC Information and Education Department.
The Ukrainian Orthodox Church congratulates its Primate on His Episcopal Ordination.
On this day back in 1990 His Beatitude was chirotonized as a bishop of Chernovtsy and Bukovina. During 24 years he had conducted his Episcopal service at the cathedra entrusted to him before he was elected Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church by the UOC Bishop Council on 13 August 2014.
