Former ATO soldier threatens to grab UOC church in Kropyvnytskyi

December 20, at the session of the Kropyvnytskyi city council the secretary of the NGO "Brothers in Arms" Oleg Kukulenko set the local authorities an ultimatum – to allocate land for a church of the Kiev Patriarchate, reports Depo.Kropyvnytskyi.

Kukulenko warned that if the deputies did not allocate land for the construction of the UOC-KP church, his organization would grab a church of one of the religious communities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

"How long will the process of granting land for the construction of a church of the UOC-KP last? Can’t we have land in the city? If you procrastinate on this issue, we'll figure out which of the already built churches of the Moscow Patriarchate (Ukrainian Orthodox Church - Ed.) will go to the Kyiv Patriarchate," the military said.
