Nikolai Tkachuk sets new record in kettlebell lifting
The new athlete's record in weightlifting sports was established by the famous sportsman on July 29, the UOJ correspondent reports.
In March of this year, His Beatitude Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine Onufry congratulated Ukrainian kettlebell lifter Nikolai Tkachuk, who once again won in Arnold Schwarzenegger's tournament.
This year, the athlete has become an absolute champion in kettlebell lifting at the international tournament "Arnold Kettlebell Classic-2018" among professionals, which took place on March 2-4 in Columbus (Ohio state, the USA).
Last year, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry blessed Nikolai for participation in the international competitions of weightlifters around the world, to which the athlete had been invited by Arnold Schwarzenegger. The Ukrainian champion also showed successful performance there.
With the blessing of His Beatitude, Tkachuk takes part in competitions with the support of the Foundation of the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church "Peace to You".
The track-record of the Ukrainian kettlebell lifter includes a large number of sport achievements, among which setting a world record in kettlebell lifting, as well as the establishment of several records of Ukraine. In addition, Nikolai is a parishioner of the capital-based temple in honor of All Saints and a student of Kiev Theological Seminary.
