Coins dedicated to the Tomos

The National Bank of Ukraine included coins to celebrate the Tomos in the series “Spiritual Treasures of Ukraine”, reports the press service of the NBU on Facebook.

There were minted coins of UAH 5 denomination of nickel silver, mintage – 75,000; UAH 20 denomination of silver (decorated with local gilding), mintage - 4,000, as well as UAH 100 denomination of gold, mintage - 1,500. Prices are not yet indicated.

Those interested can order commemorative coins “Granting Tomos of autocephaly to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine” on March 12, 2019, their introduction is scheduled for March 25.

As the UOJ reported, earlier during the action of the National Corps, after the words of Petro Poroshenko about autocephaly and Tomos, while speaking in Zhitomir, the radicals shouted: “Why do we need your Tomos!”
