On August 25, 2019, several tens of thousands of pilgrims, who went on a religious procession on August 19 from Kamenets-Podolsky, arrived at the Holy Assumption Pochaev Lavra. This is reported by the site of the monastery.

Within just seven days, the cross walkers covered more than 200 kilometers.

At the gates of the holy monastery, Metropolitan Vladimir of the Pocahev Lavra met a thousand-strong column of pilgrims, led by Metropolitan Sergiy of Ternopol and Kremenets, Metropolitan Clement of Nezhin and Priluki, and Archbishop Job of Shumsk, the rector of the Pochaev Theological Seminary.

In his welcoming remarks, the abbot of the Pochaev Lavra thanked everyone who had taken the effort during the religious journey to the house of the Most Holy Theotokos and emphasized that with this procession “we confirmed what we believe in, while our effort testifies that our faith is alive”.

After the welcoming speech of Metropolitan Vladimir, all the numerous participants in the prayer procession were sprinkled with holy water and invited to a meal.

Recall, on August 19, 2019, over 20,000 believers went out by the procession from Kamenets-Podolsky to the Pochaev Lavra. Foreign pilgrims from Australia, Russia, Moldova, the Republic of Belarus and Georgia also took part in the prayer procession.
