On the evening of August 26, 2019, drunken supporters of the OCU threw a military smoke bomb at the territory of the UOC church of the holy Archangel Michael in the village of Zadubrovka of the Zastavna district, Chernovtsy region, reports the press service of the Chernovtsy-Bukovina Eparchy.

“Today, at 21:50, Alexander Andriychuk, known by his nickname as“ Zhorik ”, Oleg Koropetsky and another unknown citizen, approached the church gate, started knocking on them and threatened people who were in the territory of the church to blow up the temple,” reports the eparchy.

It is noted that all three were intoxicated. After verbal threats, activists got to action and threw a military smoke bomb into the church territory.

“The police were called, protocols were made, the smoke bomb as material evidence was seized by law enforcement authorities. What is next? A live grenade? Does the Gospel sermon look like that?” the message of the Chernovtsy-Bukovina Eparchy says.

As reported by the UOJ, earlier the head of the village of Zadubrovka served false summons to the military commissariat for parishioners who defend the St. Archangel Michael Church from the encroachments of the OCU.

We recall that on the same day, August 26, OCU supporters attacked the Holy Assumption Church in vlg. Mikhalcha of the Storozhinets district, Chernovtsy region.
