Many believers of the UOC came to stand out for the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. As one of the parishioners of the monastery, Natalia, told a UOJ correspondent, they will not allow the monks to be evicted from the Lavra.
“Today we will be here. Evening service will begin soon, let's go to pray. We will all be here together, I put aside all my work, all my affairs, and came here yesterday, today, I will come tomorrow and I will come every day as long as it is required,” said the believer.
Natalia also noted that if the parishioners show their mass and strength, the authorities will be afraid to involve law enforcement agencies.
