Metropolitan Pavel (Lebed), the abbot of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, told UOJ correspondents about activists with Satan on T-shirts who arrange provocations in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.

"Yesterday there were young people, a little more than 100 people, whose T-shirts read: 'Let us listen to Satan. Let us communicate with Satan". Today they're imputing to us, I guess, what we shouldn't be doing... We have to be patient, pray and thank God for everything, then let God judge them and help us all," said Vladyka Pavel.

The vicar of the Lavra said that his house is being searched.

"Today at 7:30 I was handed a suspicion. On Saturday, a day off, the Praise of the Blessed Virgin Mary, I was not allowed to pray. My house is now being searched. I ask for your holy prayers. I am being accused of working with Russia, stirring up enmity, cursing the president," he added.

"Never in my life have I done this, I have not cursed anyone, but I have said the words of the Gospel that our tears will not fall to the ground, but will fall on the heads of those who caused this unrest," the vicar said.

Metropolitan Paul urged people to remain calm, to pray, but also not to remain silent, so that everyone knows - the Church is being persecuted.

As reported, Metropolitan Pavel is accused of criticising the OCU and the Phanar.
