On April 8, 2023, the mayor of Kamyanets-Podilskyi Mykhaylo Posytko reported that the UOC cathedral of the Holy Prince Alexander Nevsky "transferred" to the OCU.

Positko wrote on his Telegram: "A historic decision. Nevsky Cathedral goes to Ukrainian Church".

At the same time, a UOJ reporter who followed the situation directly from the scene reported that there were no more than 100 people who voted in the church courtyard.

Later, in one of the Kamyanets-Podilskyi Telegraph groups, the "Simchyshyn team" (mayor of Khmelnytskyy – Ed.) stated that 4,000 people "voted" for the cathedral's "transfer" to the OCU.

However, believers noticed that in one of the videos taken near the cathedral, the last number on the blanks signed by opponents of the UOC was 104.

As reported, in Kamyanets-Podilskyi, Khmelnytskyi region, "activists" were gathered at the St. Alexander Nevskyy Cathedral under threat of dismissal.
