Metropolitan Seraphim of Kythira and Antikythera of the Greek Orthodox Church called on his flock to pray for the UOC.

In his Easter message, Metropolitan Seraphim asked the flock to intensify their prayers for an end to the war in Ukraine and for “the recovery of thousands of the wounded after the earthquake in Syria and Turkey.”

Also, he called on the faithful of his diocese to pray "for an end to the persecution of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church."

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that according to Metropolitan Seraphim, the UOC is cruelly and mercilessly persecuted by the leadership of the OCU.
