OCU raiders seize UOC temple in Trebukhiv

On April 22, 2023, OCU activists, with the help of an angle grinder, seized the Church of the Intercession in the village of Trebukhiv, Boryspil diocese, news.church.ua reports.

Persons dressed in military uniforms helped OCU activists to carry out an act of raiding.

The parishioners tried to stop the intruders, while the police remained inactive.

Children and women of the UOC community, under the protection of a few men, rallied in the refectory, where there was a full service today. Now the assaulters are also trying to seize the premises of the refectory.

Supporters of the OCU, along with persons in military uniform, are also trying to seize the priest's house, where there are young children.

After the seizure of the temple in Trebukhiv, the raiders publicly desecrated the Gospel and other church books.

The blasphemers took the Holy Scriptures and other church literature out of the temple, called these books rubbish, loaded them into a children's car and continued to say various blasphemous words about these books.

The attackers photographed and recorded their actions on video. A video of mockery of the Bible was published on his Facebook page by one of the most active participants in these actions, a supporter of the OCU, Yaroslav Bondarenko.

As previously reported by the UOJ, in Trebukhiv, Kyiv region, supporters of the OCU are seizing the UOC temple.
