On April 27, 2023, MP Inna Sovsun told Channel 5 that there are several bills in the Verkhovna Rada directed against the UOC, but they are not put to the vote for fear of not getting the right votes.

“It's very sad, but today I don't see any prospects that the relevant bills will get into the parliament hall,” Sovsun says. According to her, part of the Servant of the People faction is against such laws, among which “there is a large group of supporters of the UOC-MP, as well as wrecks from the Opposition Platform for Life”. In addition, as Sovsun says, there are still supporters of the UOC among the majoritarians from Dovira and For Future.

According to the MP, there are no issues only with Holos and Eurosolidarity, whose members are unanimously eager "to destroy the UOC-MP".

As the UOJ reported earlier, MP Natalya Pipa said that we should part ways with the UOC before Easter.
