OCU creates a clone of UOC Jonah Monastery in Kyiv

On 23 May 2023, the OCU "Synod" decided to create a clone of the UOC Jonah Monastery in Kyiv as part of the OCU, reports the OCU official website.
"A religious organisation "Holy Trinity Jonah Monastery of the Kyiv Metropolis of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Orthodox Church of Ukraine) has been formed as part of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, with Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine as its priest-archimandrite," the statement said.
Earlier, the OCU set up clones of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and the Pochaiv Lavra, as well as five monasteries in the Volyn and Ternopil regions.
