The deputies of the regional council of the Transcarpathian region have banned the UOC. As reported on the regional council's Facebook page, with this decision, the authorities strengthened national security "in the field of activity of public and religious organizations across the Transcarpathian region."
In addition to the ban, the deputies add recommendations to law enforcement agencies to ensure a quick and effective response to the discovery of facts of anti-Ukrainian propaganda by representatives of religious, public and other organizations.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that none of the 623 communities of the UOC had moved to the OCU in Transcarpathia.
