On August 19-25, thousands of believers walked almost 250 kilometers in a cross procession from Kamyanets-Podilsky to the Holy Dormition Pochaiv Lavra. “First Cossack” Channel published footage of the pilgrimage from the air.

The video shows the procession on the way and on the threshold of the Pochaiv Lavra and gets the viewer familiar with the landmark moments about the 200-year tradition of this testimony of faith.

This year, due to the epidemic, the cross walkers faced additional difficulties. Pilgrims skirted settlements and spent the night in tents.

Nevertheless, the cross procession gathered, according to various estimates, from 5 to 10 thousand believers and passed without provocation.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that the Brailov cross procession arrived at the Pochaiv Lavra on August 26.
