Commenting on Oleksandr Tkachenko’s statement that the monks had to leave the Lavra within three days, MP Artem Dmytruk said that the Minister of Culture was “a super-incompetent person in his field”, demonstrating the barbaric attitude of the ministers of the Ukrainian state towards believers. He told the UOJ about this.
According to the People's Deputy, the requirements of the head of the Ministry of Culture are meaningless and unprofessional.
He noted that Tkachenko only brings harm to the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy.
“I am deeply convinced that the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra was, is, and will be Ukrainian, and most importantly, God's! By the way, the petition for the resignation of Oleksandr Tkachenko from the post of Minister of Culture has already gained the required number of votes (25870 – Ed.), even more. Therefore, it is time for him to go before such a respected ministry is disgraced even more,” Dmytruk added.
As reported by the UOJ, Tkachenko demanded that the UOC release the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra within three days.
The UOJ also wrote that the UOC commented on Tkachenko’s demand to move out of the Lavra.
