US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, UK Foreign Secretary James Cleverly, and Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleksandr Bankov visited the Greek Catholic Cathedral of the Holy Family in London, the UGCC press service reports.
The visit took place on the eve of an international conference on the reconstruction of Ukraine, which is taking place in the British capital.
The guests were greeted by Bishop Kenneth Novakivsky of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of the Holy Family.
Blinken and Cleverly also toured the support center for refugees from Ukraine located in the cathedral, which was opened in November 2022 by British King Charles III and the spouse of the President of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska.
As the UOJ wrote, a representative of the US Department of State, headed by Antony Blinken, stated that he was unaware of the persecution faced by the UOC by the Ukrainian authorities.
