On July 13, 2023, the Economic Court of the Khmelnytsky region ordered the Exaltation of the Cross community of the UOC in Karvasary, Kamyanets-Podilskyi, to vacate the church and hand it over to the Ministry of Culture, Minister of Culture Oleksandr Tkachenko said on his telegram channel.

Tkachenko called it a "fruitful" decision.

“By the decision of July 13, 2023, made by the Economic Court of the Khmelnytsky region in the case on the claim of the Kamyanets National Historical and Architectural Reserve against the Religious Organization "Exaltation of the Cross Ukrainian Orthodox Church" on the release and transfer of an object of real estate, the claim was satisfied. The reserve, together with the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, asked the court to oblige the UOC to vacate the building of Exaltation of the Cross Church in Karvasary, which is located at the address: Khmelnytsky region, Kamyanets-Podilskyi, 24 Karvasary street, and return it to the Reserve,” wrote Tkachenko.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that Tkachenko called the seizures of buildings 68 and 115 "de-russification of the Lavra".
