Zelenskyy takes President of South Korea on tour of St. Sophia Cathedral

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, together with First Lady Olena Zelenska, and President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk Yeol, together with his wife Kim Keon Hee, visited the National Nature Reserve Sophia of Kyiv, reports president.gov.ua.

The message says, "Heads of state and first ladies were given a tour of St. Sophia's Cathedral and got acquainted with the history and architectural features of this landmark of Ukrainian culture. In particular, they were told about the unique frescoes and mosaics of the temple's interior."

On July 15, 2023, the President of South Korea, Yun Sok Yol, arrived in Kyiv for a visit and announced that his country intends to expand its support for Ukraine compared to the previous year.

As previously reported, Zelenskyy stated that from now on, all credentials will be presented at St. Sophia’s Cathedral.
