Cabinet of Ministers appoints acting Minister of Culture

On July 28, 2023, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appointed Rostyslav Karandeev as the temporary acting Minister of Culture and Information Policy, reports the resource "Interfax-Ukraine".

Taras Melnychuk, a representative of the Cabinet of Ministers, stated that "the temporary performance of duties of the Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine has been entrusted to Rostyslav Karandeev".

Previously, Karandeev held the position of the First Deputy Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.

As reported, on July 27, the Verkhovna Rada supported the resignation of Oleksandr Tkachenko from the position of the head of the Ministry of Culture.
