On October 28, 2020, Mayor of Pochaev Vasily Sergeevich Boyko made a request to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to confirm that he is not the author of the petition registered on the website of the President of Ukraine on the transfer of the Pochaiv Lavra for use to the OCU, reports the website of the Pochaiv City Council.
The message says that the mayor of Pochaev V.S. Boiko has nothing to do with the petition "since any person can register under such a name and surname on the website of electronic petitions of the CMU."
In this regard, the current Mayor of Pochaiv, Vasily Sergeevich Boyko, asked the Cabinet of Ministers to confirm that he "is not registered on the site of electronic petitions and has not registered a single electronic petition."
As reported, a petition to transfer the Pochaiv Lavra to the OCU appeared on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.
