Representatives of the OCU, UGCC and RCC held a joint ecumenical prayer service in Ivano-Frankivsk.
The action was timed to coincide with the All-Ukrainian Day of Prayer for Orphans, the website of the Ivano-Frankivsk Archdiocese of the UGCC reports.
Protopresbyter Volodymyr Cherny, who is in charge of social service of the Ivano-Frankivsk Uniate Archdiocese, officiated the ecumenical prayer service.
"Archpriest" Nikolai Savchin took part in it on behalf of the OCU.
“Thus, a common prayer service for orphans united representatives of different confessions – the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, the Orthodox Church of Ukraine and the Roman Catholic Church of Ukraine,” the Archdiocese of the UGCC summed up.
As reported by the UOJ, the OCU cleric "buried" the famous paranormalist who died of COVID-19.
