OCU chaplain wishes at funeral that no one would know prayers in Russian

OCU chaplain Nazariy Hahaliuk wished both the deceased and all those present at the funeral of soldier Vasyl Popovych that they "never know Russianness, Russian prayer in Russian". A video of Hahaliuk's speech was published on the Facebook page of the Bukovyna Ring of the OCU.

The OCU "priest" complained that his parishioners do not come to funerals and that they are indifferent to the war. Meanwhile, at the cemetery, "the orchestra gets tired of playing" because there are several funerals a day.

"Why are we here (and not at the front - Ed.) We have no shooting in Bukovyna and we feel good. Are we waiting for each of us to be summoned? Only then will it have anything to do with us?" Hahaliuk asked those present.

He assured the relatives of the deceased that we are "Ukrainians" and "we have Ukrainian language at the services, not Slavic".

Hahalyuk also boasted that "we are not waiting to be told, we have been reading prayers in Ukrainian for a long time. We have long been Ukrainians present here."

As reported, according to the OCU chaplain, when Muscovites chant in the language of the aggressor – it is a torment.
