On the morning of October 13, 2023, at a school in the French city of Arras, a Muslim attacked teachers and students shouting “Allahu Akbar,” Strana reports, citing La Monde.
The criminal killed literature teacher Dominique Bernard and wounded another teacher before being detained by the police. A school security guard was also hospitalized in serious condition. The attacker is a Russian citizen born in 2003, Mohammed S., Ingush by nationality, who previously studied at this school. His brother is said to be involved in the Islamic radical movement.
French President Emmanuel Macron arrived at the scene of the crime, according to whom he came “to show support for the nation” and also to support the “fight against obscurantism.” He said that another man with a knife, “close to the radical Islamist movement,” was arrested in Limaya.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that in France, a teacher was beheaded after a lecture with caricatures of Muhammad.
