The case of Metropolitan Jonathan of Tulchyn and Bratslav is being examined by UOC defender Bob Amsterdam, according to the hierarch's lawyer, Ihor Chudovsky.
Chudovsky stated that he appreciated working with Bob Amsterdam because he approached the case from the particular to the general. He took the case of Metropolitan Ioanafan of Tulchin and Bratslav and asked to explain the specific details of the case.
According to Chudovsky, Bob Amsterdam was very surprised to learn that the SBU officers were involved in falsifying the case, planting "materials" that were later used in court as "evidence" of the hierarch's guilt.
"Is it really happening?" Amsterdam asked Chudovsky in disbelief.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that a video had surfaced, revealing how the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) falsified a case against the UOC hierarch.
