The liquidated UOC-KP accused the "hierarch" of the OCU Eustratiy Zoria of "gross interference in the activities of foreign parishes" of the so-called Kyiv Patriarchate and in the spread of fakes about the health of "His Holiness Patriarch" Filaret Denisenko.
In an open appeal published on the UOC-KP's FB page on Tuesday, February 2, "archbishop" Andrei Marutsak made claims to Zoria that he grossly interferes with the activities of the Kyiv Patriarchate parishes abroad and "sows discord between the clergy and believers."
“We call on you, Vladyka Eustratiy, to stop arbitrary actions against the parishes of the Kyiv Patriarchate, especially in the USA, where the ruling bishop is still His Holiness Patriarch of Kyiv and All Rus-Ukraine Filaret, whom you, Vladyka, until recently openly called ‘my patriarch’," emphasized the "hierarch" of the UOC-KP.
In addition, Marutsak called on Zoria "to stop disseminating false information about the allegedly critical state of health of His Holiness."
“We would like to remind you of your words, written in the not too distant past in the preface to the publication about the archpastoral service of His Holiness Patriarch Filaret in the Kyiv See: ‘Unfortunately, many of those who spoke praises to Vladyka Filaret before the episcopal consecration, who received the grace of priesthood from his hands, have now defected to the camp of persecutors and opponents. However, I am convinced that time will put everything in its place and reveal the truth’. Listen to your words. Let them today become for you the greatest evidence of your apostasy and a benchmark for choosing future paths,” wrote “archbishop” Marutsak, wishing Zoria to come “to a real confession of truth”.
As reported by the UOJ, the UOC-KP called the birthday greetings to Filaret from the head of the OCU Epiphany a deceitful and hypocritical “gallery play”.
