On February 6, 2021, supporters of the OCU, in the presence of the police, cut off the locks on the doors of the Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh in the village of Halynivka, Volyn region, reports the press service of the Volodymyr-Volynsky Eparchy of the UOC.

We recall that after the pickets of the OCU activists of the Volyn Regional State Administration, officials completed the re-registration of the UOC community, which allegedly "passed to the OCU".

The rector of the Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh in the village of Halynivka, Volyn region, Archpriest Yuri Tatunchak told the UOJ that the forced re-registration of the UOC community in favour of the OCU would not make the persecuted UOC community end its activities, and now the rector, together with the parishioners, will decide where to further pray.
