On December 20, 2023, the Cherkasy court revoked the round-the-clock house arrest for Metropolitan Theodosiy, leaving only nighttime restrictions. The hierarch announced this decision to parishioners after the hearing, and the video of his words was published on the YouTube channel "Cherkasy Herald."

"These eight months we went through together with you," said the hierarch. "We endured, mourned, prayed, and now we rejoice together." Immediately after the court session, Metropolitan Theodosiy went to the cathedral to conduct a thanksgiving service before the relics of the venerable martyr Macarius.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that the victim had mysteriously disappeared in the case of Metropolitan Theodosiy.
