The Network showed the almost empty Holy Dormition Cathedral of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra during the Christmas "service" in the new style.
The UOJ has at its disposal video and photo materials from the "Christmas Vespers", which today, on 24 December, is performed by OCU representatives at the Dormition Cathedral of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
The video and photos show an almost empty temple, where about a dozen believers of the Dumenko structure are present at the "worship service" in addition to several "clergymen" of the OCU.
It should be noted that the "Vespers" on Christmas Eve in the new style is headed by the acting "abbot" of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra Avrahamiy Lotysh.
As earlier reported, the OCU "chaplain" Nestor Nazarov recorded a video message in which he asked the head of the OCU, Epifaniy Dumenko, why the churches that had been converted to the OCU stand empty.
At the same time, Ukrainian President Zelensky assured that all Ukrainians celebrate Christmas on 25 December "as one nation".
