The total amount of assistance provided by the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) in 2023 for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and Ukrainians affected by the war exceeded 88 million UAH. This is stated in the report of Metropolitan Anthony of Boryspil and Brovary, published on the UOC website.

In 2023, the UOC distributed over 255 tons of food kits and 430,000 servings of meals to those in need and civilians affected by hostilities.

The total amount of assistance provided to large families, the needy, veterans, orphanages, and pensioners amounted to almost 22.5 million UAH.

The UOC spent over 3 million UAH on the purchase of medicines and medical equipment for the civilian population in 2023, and aid in the amount of over 12 million UAH was provided to those affected by the explosion of the Kakhovska HPP's dam.

Metropolitan Onuphry personally donated 2 million UAH for the needs of the AFU, and the charitable foundation of the Primate of the UOC raised one million for the purchase of food for those in need.

In 2023, the clergy and believers of the UOC made about 40 humanitarian trips to the front-line and de-occupied territories, delivering about 100 tons of humanitarian aid.

Over 40 million UAH was collected and transferred for internally displaced persons who stayed in the Sviatohirsk Lavra.

Additionally, the UOC donated 180 vehicles and 10 ambulances for the needs of the AFU and territorial defense, spending over 40 million UAH on the purchase of medicines and ammunition.

As reported by the UOJ, soldiers of the AFU and the National Guard thanked the UOC's Rivne Diocese for the assistance provided to them.
