In the village of Zavoloka, Storozhynets district, Chernivtsi region, the Divine Liturgy will be served for 40 days in the new All Saints church of the UOC, built by the community affected by the raiding of the OCU, the Chernivtsi-Bukovyna Diocese reports on Facebook.

The temple in Zavoloka was built in just 15 months after the supporters of the OCU had unlawfully seized the former church. In the 1990s, it was also built by the UOC community, headed by the current rector, Archimandrite Yuvenaly (Palamariuk). Now the priest, who built both churches, is 80 years old.

“After the consecration of the new church of the UOC in Zavoloka village of the Storozhynets deanery of the Chernivtsi-Bukovina diocese, services will be held in honor of All Saints for forty days in a row. The rector of the church, Archimandrite Yuvenaly, and the parishioners invite all comers and all benefactors to share the joy of prayer and see the fruits of their donations,” the diocese reports.

As the UOJ reported, a new UOC temple was consecrated in Zavoloka, which had been built instead of the OCU-seized one.
