A key initiator of OCU’s Tomos visits Metropolitan Sawa of Poland

On 8 January 2024, Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon, a Phanar representative, visited Metropolitan Sawa of Warsaw, the Primate of the Polish Orthodox Church.
Metropolitan Emmanuel conveyed the "heartfelt greetings" of the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to Metropolitan Sawa.
According to the press service of the Polish Church, "During the meeting, the hierarchs discussed the current state of Christianity in the world and exchanged views on the problems that now concern the Orthodox Church."
As earlier reported, the Phanar is ready to contact Churches on the "pan-Orthodox problem".
