KSCA and regional state administrations for the period have re-registered in the OCU the statutes of 968 communities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church since the beginning of the invasion of the Russian Federation in 2022, said a DESS "expert", Andriy Smirnov, referring to an official document signed by V. Voynalovych.

In response to Smirnov's official enquiry, Voynalovych stated that for 2023, regional state administrations re-registered the statutes of 472 UOC communities.

"A total of 968 communities joined the OCU in 2022-2023," Smirnov wrote on his Facebook. The "expert" did not explain who reported this figure, as Voynalovych does not mention it in the letter.

As reported, OCU "believers” brutally beat the rector and seized the Kazan Church of the UOC in Ladyzhyn.
