Sviatoslav Khomyak, the son of a priest in the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU) who cursed a parishioner, commented on the controversial video featuring his father, "priest" Mykola Khomyak. In the video, during the seizure of a church in the village of Pecheske, Mykola Khomyak shouted at a parishioner of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC), "Be cursed, b*tch!"

In his Facebook post, Sviatoslav Khomyak addressed the video, sharing a religious story about the supposed blow that St. Nicholas dealt with Arius during the First Ecumenical Council. He also recalled the words of Christ, "Do not judge, so that you will not be judged," and "First take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye."

Sviatoslav Khomyak concluded his post by criticizing the video's perspective, poor sound quality, editing, and the overlaid text, referring to it as typical Russian IPSO-style garbage.

Earlier, 'dean' of the OCU, Mykola Khomyak, was involved in a brawl at a government institution.

It was reported earlier that a "priest" of the OCU, during the seizure of the Protection Church, demanded the rector to "watch his mouth" and the parishioners to "shut the hell up".
