The leader of European Solidarity and ex-president Petro Poroshenko has outlined five red lines for the current President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, among which is the church issue.

Poroshenko announced his demands on his Facebook page.

Among them is to prevent a change in Ukraine's course for the EU and NATO, not to hold elections in the Donbass until control over the territories is restored, not to compromise on the Crimea, and to file lawsuits against the Russian Federation in international courts.

Poroshenko put the church issue in second place after Ukraine's course for the EU and NATO.

"The second" red line. No concessions on the issue of national identity, namely the Ukrainian language and the Ukrainian Church. Putin repeated these dreams again as recently as last week. And, look, at the same time, the "Servants" became more active, and they are again trying to revise the language legislation," said the ex-president.

Earlier, Poroshenko initiated a bill on the liquidation of religious organizations for "violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state". As political expert Konstantin Bondarenko noted, Poroshenko once again decided to "play in his electoral field in order to mobilize his electorate and show himself in the role of a patriot".
