Kyiv court chooses a preventive measure for Father Mykolay Danylevych

On April 14, 2024, a court hearing took place in Kiev to determine a preventive measure for the deputy head of the DECR UOC Archpriest Mykolay Danylevych.

According to media reports, the court chose a measure not related to deprivation of liberty – personal obligation – for Archpriest Mykolay Danylevych, who is accused of glorifying the Russian Federation and inciting interreligious strife.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that the spokesperson of the UOC is accused of establishing UOC dioceses abroad for promoting Russian narratives there.
