Pope Francis addressed six thousand Italian teenagers from the "Schools for Peace", urging them not to forget about their peers from Ukraine, Vatican News reports.
"I would like to talk to you for two minutes about war. Remember the children who are in war conditions, think about the Ukrainian children who have forgotten how to smile... Pray for these children, let them into your hearts, those children amid war. Think about the children in Gaza who are being shelled, starving... Think about all of them. And now let's be silent for a moment, and each of us will remember Ukrainian children and children in Gaza," the pontiff said.
As reported by the UOJ, Pope Francis proposed that Russia and Ukraine exchange prisoners according to the "all for all" formula.
