In his authored program on the social network X (formerly Twitter), U.S. telejournalist Tucker Carlson interviewed UOC lawyer Bob Amsterdam.
Lawyer Bob Amsterdam, who recently returned from a 10-day trip to Ukraine, said that an "unlimited" war has been declared against the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
According to him, Orthodox priests are systematically interrogated and beaten, parliamentarians are under incredible pressure from the secret police, and property is expropriated from businessmen, especially those associated with the canonical Church.
"Ukraine has not only shut the media but also become a font of disinformation," Amsterdam said.
He also told Tucker Carlson that "Ukrainian authorities spent $3.5 million in Washington to tell Americans that everything they are doing to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church isn't happening."
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the American journalist called on the United States to condemn the persecution of the UOC.
