On May 15, 2021, the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine, consecrated a monument to Metropolitan Nikodim of Kharkiv and Bogodukhiv, reports the Kharkiv Eparchy.
The monument to Metropolitan Nikodim is consecrated on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the hierarch. It is placed in a public garden named after the Metropolitan.
“Today this year marks the hundredth anniversary of the birth of His Eminence Vladyka Nikodim, the ruling bishop of the eparchy, who was ‘a good shepherd who gave his life for his sheep’,” said the Archpastor. "Vladyka Nikodim left behind a good mark of love, patience, zeal for God and the service that a priest or bishop should perform while standing at the Throne of God".
