Vladimir Zheglov, Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the OSCE, said that the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine (SMM) completely ignored the mass prayer standing of UOC believers near the Verkhovna Rada in Kyiv, not reflecting the event in its reports, reports ria.ru.
As reported, on June 15, believers of the UOC held the prayer standing near the Verkhovna Rada against discrimination of the UOC, during which they passed two bills aimed at protecting the rights of UOC believers.
“Unfortunately, the SMM completely ignored this mass gathering, not reporting it in either daily or weekly reports. At the same time, the mission's reports contain, for example, information about a small picket that took place in front of the parliament building on the issues of state regulation of film production. We call on the mission to fulfil its mandate fully and responsibly. Facts matter,” Vladimir Zheglov said at a meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council.
As previously reported, “Something is wrong in the church again”: Zelensky confused the prayer standing of the UOC with the rally of the OPZZh.
