On June 27, 2024, there will be another hearing in the case of Metropolitan Theodosiy of Cherkasy and Kaniv. According to the Telegram channel of the Cherkasy Eparchy, a preventive measure will be chosen for the hierarch.
"Metropolitan Theodosiy is again being demanded to be imprisoned! The court is scheduled for June 27 at 11 AM," the message says.
The diocesan press service noted that the basis for imprisoning the archbishop was his sermon for one of the persecuted communities of Cherkasy region.

As the UOJ reported, on June 19, officers of the Security Service of Ukraine in Cherkasy conducted another search in the house where Metropolitan Theodosiy resides. According to the hierarch’s Telegram channel, the formal basis for the fourth search was a criminal case initiated due to his sermon for one of the persecuted communities of Cherkasy, but the real reason, in his opinion, is his refusal to be exchanged as a "prisoner of war". Later, the SBU reported handing of the fifth suspicion to Metropolitan Theodosiy (Snigirev).
