SBU: The case of Metropolitan Arseniy is ready for consideration on merits

Head of the press service of the SBU in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Halyna Pryshchepa, announced that the case of Metropolitan Arseniy (Yakovenko), the abbot of the Holy Dormition Sviatohirsk Lavra, has been adjusted and is now ready for court proceedings on the merits, Ukrinform reports.
"The materials of the criminal case have already been forwarded to the court for consideration of the substance. In the criminal proceedings, everything remains the same as it was at the suspicion stage," Pryshchepa said.
Earlier, she mentioned that evidence collection continues in the case of Metropolitan Arseniy, with additional specific examinations being assigned.
As reported by the UOJ, another court session regarding Metropolitan Arseniy's case is scheduled for July 1st in Kryvyi Rih.
