On July 1, the third international Orthodox youth meeting "Supraśl 2024" officially began, gathering ninety participants from more than twenty countries. The event is being held at the Annunciation Monastery of the Polish Orthodox Church in Supraśl.

At the opening of the event, the Primate of the Polish Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Metropolitan Savva, thanked the youth for their efforts in promoting Orthodoxy and emphasized the importance of international unity among Orthodox youth.

Metropolitan Savva urged the participants to do everything in their power to maintain the unity of the Orthodox Church.

The goal of the "Supraśl 2024" meeting is to unite young people from Local Orthodox Churches, support them in their faith, and motivate them to actively participate in church life.

During the nine-day program, participants will attend seminars, lectures, and take part in various activities related to art, cinema, and music.

The seminars will cover practical environmental projects, Orthodox worship, and the Church's teachings on environmental protection.

Earlier, UOJ reported that the head of the Polish Church mentioned the persecution of the UOC in his message.
