U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump criticized the Olympics opening ceremony for parodying Christ's 'Last Supper' with the twelve apostles.
"The opening ceremony was a disgrace, actually," he said in an interview with Fox News, according to Strana.
When the host mentioned that Christians around the world are outraged, Trump said he thinks they could do something about it, but it was terrible.
Earlier, the International Olympic Committee apologized for certain moments in the show's opening.
As the UOJ reported, the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics sparked international outrage due to a "travesty show" that parodied Leonardo da Vinci's painting 'The Last Supper'. In particular, Elon Must wrote that "This was extremely disrespectful to Christians."
