UOC spokesperson: OCU is favoured by officials left from Poroshenko time

Today, middle-level officials who have remained since the Petro Poroshenko time continue to favour the OCU. Archpriest Nikolai Danilevich, the deputy head of the Department for External Church Relations (DECR) of the UOC, said this in a comment to RBC-Ukraine.
The spokesperson for the UOC noted that in comparison with the period of Poroshenko's rule, the current government takes an equidistant position on the church issue.
“But this is if we talk about the government in general and Zelensky’s position. At the same time, we see the favoritization of the OCU, which, perhaps, with the consent of Zelensky, comes from those people, middle-level officials who remained from the Poroshenko period,” said the clergyman.
As reported, experts believe that today Ukrainians are hostages of Poroshenko's actions to create a "state church".
