A flash mob # STOPVARFOLOMEY against the arrival of the Phanar head in Ukraine was held near the Cathedral of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Kharkiv, said Hierodeacon Daniel Gavrilin, a cleric of the Kharkiv Eparchy, on his Facebook page.

According to the hierodeacon, the believers asked Patriarch Bartholomew not to come to their land, because over his decisions and anti-canonical actions, enmity, hatred, and division are sown in Ukraine, tears are shed, Orthodox priests and laity beaten, and churches seized.

Earlier, a flash mob against Patriarch Bartholomew’s arrival was supported in other eparchies of the UOC. For example, similar actions took place in the Ternopil, Rivne, Vinnytsia, Odessa eparсhies.

As the UOJ reported, the media showed protests against the arrival of the head of Phanar throughout Ukraine.
