On September 16, the rector of the Kyiv Theological Academy and Seminary, Archbishop Sylvester of Bilohorodka, met with the management of the charity fund "Renovabis" in the city of Freising, Germany. According to the KDAiS website, the meeting addressed issues of cooperation in the field of education.

The rector was accompanied by Archdeacon Nikodim (Shevchuk), head of the KDAiS office. Professor Thomas Bremer also participated in the meeting.

The meeting with the Executive Director of the charity fund, Dr. Markus Ingenlath, as well as employees Teresa Grabinger and Martin Lenz, took place after a tour of the Freising Cathedral complex.

"Archbishop Sylvester spoke about the current state of the Kyiv Theological Academy and Seminary in the context of Russian military aggression. The parties also discussed areas for further cooperation in education," the statement reads.

As earlier reported, the KDA will hold a conference to mark the 100th anniversary of the academy's closure by Soviet authorities.
