Special prayers are being offered near the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra for clergy, imprisoned journalists, and Orthodox lawyers. This was reported by the Save_Lavra Telegram channel.

On October 4, during a prayer vigil, a priest offered prayers for Metropolitan Arseniy, journalists Valeriy and Andriy, Metropolitan Pavlo, and all the servants of God "who are in captivity."

Believers also prayed for the monastery's brethren and Orthodox lawyers.

The clergyman asked the Lord to protect them from all sorrow, trouble, need, mental and physical illnesses, and to grant them His mercy.

As previously reported, a participant in the prayer vigil expressed his faith that the Theotokos will not abandon the Lavra.
