Evhen Boyko, the manager of the executive committee of the Lviv City Council, assured on his social media page that no religious activities are taking place at the building located at 100 Antonovycha Street, where the UOC church was previously located. He refuted rumors that gatherings continue there and referred to the words of the property owner, who stated that she had terminated the lease agreement with the Holy Trinity parish.

"I personally called the property owner to double-check, just in case we were missing something." He emphasized that the owner refuted all rumors: "She assured that she had not renewed the agreement with the church and that the church is no longer in her premises."

However, particular attention is drawn to the following part of the message: “A shelter for displaced persons has been set up in the building, so if anyone has any doubts – she does not mind if activists or relevant authorities come to verify this information.” Thus, the authorities of Lviv are effectively encouraging activists to conduct inspections, which may be qualified as pressure on the property owner.

As reported by the UOJ, in Lviv, residents are urged to report UOC services held at homes.
